Afterwards, Hu Haijing and his delegation met with Zhao Guangping, deputy secretary of the Jiangjin District Committee of Chongqing, and the two sides discussed the prospects for business cooperation in Jiangjin District.
Deputy Secretary Zhao Guangping introduced the construction status of the hub port industrial park in Jiangjin District and the location advantages of the Luohuang Port Area. He expressed the desire to strengthen cooperation with SUMEC-ITC, hoping to give full play to the core functions of the hub port, transform the channel advantages into industrial and development advantages, link up with surrounding areas, and promote high-level opening up of western and inland areas.
Hu Haijing pointed out that SUMEC-ITC hopes to integrate the initial processing business of bulk commodities, optimize processes, strengthen the status of the new sea-land channel, maximize logistics value, and reduce supply chain costs through cooperation with key ports. He also mentioned that in addition to promoting its own development, SUMEC-ITC also hopes to empower local governments and enterprises through online promotion, fund investment promotion, etc., provide comprehensive service solutions, help Chinese companies better go global, and promote the incremental development of local economies.
On the morning of the 16th, Hu Haijing and his delegation visited Yan Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chongqing Free Trade Zone Development Group.
Yan Wei introduced the development status and achievements of the comprehensive bonded zone and discussed the cooperation of SUMEC's investment projects in Chongqing. Hu Haijing expressed the hope that the two sides can deepen cooperation in investment projects, explore new areas of cooperation, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. The two sides also discussed cooperation opportunities in port trade logistics, container and bulk cargo business, and agreed to jointly promote cooperation in industrial capital, park investment promotion and operation, middleware export processing trade, and two-way leverage of logistics resources.
In the afternoon of the same day, Hu Haijing and his delegation also met with Liu Hanjie, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Chongqing Foreign Economic and Trade Group.
Liu Hanjie introduced the development history, problem-solving methods and future development direction of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group, and expressed his desire to have in-depth exchanges with SUMEC-ITC in risk control management, information construction, compliance management and other aspects. Hu Haijing said that SUMEC-ITC and Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Group have similar development backgrounds and missions, and hoped that the two sides could deepen cooperation in the fields of electromechanical equipment imports and national strategic resource reserves, seize the opportunity for Chongqing to build a "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system, and expand business growth.
