On September 10, Nanjing Mayor Chen Zhichang visited SUMEC Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as " SUMEC ") to conduct research and gain an in-depth insights of the company's operations and development. SUMEC Party Committee Secretary and Chairman Yang Yongqing warmly welcomed Mayor Chen Zhichang and his delegation. Municipal Government Secretary-General Hong Lilai accompanied them on this visit.
Yang Yongqing first extended a warm welcome to Chen Zhichang and all the guests and expressed his gratitude to the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and the Nanjing Municipal Government for their long-term support. He then reported in detail on the current business development of SUMEC and said that in future development, SUMEC will follow the strategic guidance of SINOMACH and the Nanjing Municipal Government, unswervingly implement the "Five Certainties", focus on creating new productivity, optimize the company's layout in Chinese and foreign markets, and strive to contribute more to the development of Nanjing's export-oriented economy.
Chen Zhichang spoke highly of SUMEC 's contribution to promoting the economic and social development of Nanjing. He emphasized that in the current complex economic environment, SUMEC has achieved good growth in import and export business with its active and effective strategic measures. Chen Zhichang encouraged SUMEC to continue to play a bridging role, promote Nanjing enterprises to go global, attract foreign investment into Nanjing, and further promote the city's openness and economic growth. He said that Nanjing will continue to provide a first-class business environment and support the steady development of enterprises including SUMEC in Nanjing.
During this research activity, the main leaders of the Nanjing Development and Reform Commission, Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Commerce Bureau, Statistics Bureau and Xuanwu District People's Government were all present.
