Recently, SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd. (SUMEC-ITC) successfully signed the second-phase project for the import of key equipment of the high-speed wire rod production line of Danieli, Italy, with a domestic client. Based on the cooperation in the first-phase project of 2 production lines with the client in the early stage, SUMEC-ITC has once again joined hands for 1 production line in the second-phase project. This production line is equipped with a series of advanced equipment and process technologies such as a crop shear, a multi-driven high-speed finishing mill unit, a multi-driven dual-module unit, and a laying head. It can roll and produce a variety of high-quality and special steel grades, including high-quality carbon structural steel, alloy structural steel, cold heading steel, welding wire steel, spring steel, and bearing steel. It can effectively ensure that the products meet strict dimensional accuracy and surface quality requirements, and achieve higher mechanical property and microstructure requirements. It helps the client make new breakthroughs in product structure optimization, production capacity improvement, technological innovation, green production, etc., and promotes the stable production of high-quality and high-performance special steel and the improvement of technical levels.

As a special type of steel, special steel has high requirements for production processes and equipment, and is difficult to develop. The production capacity of special steel has become one of the important indicators for measuring the manufacturing level of a country's steel industry.
