On July 26, SUMEC International Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "SUMEC-ITC") held a mid-term work meeting for 2024 to thoroughly study and understand the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and implement the requirements of the mid-term work meeting of SINOMACH and SUMEC Group Corporation The meeting reviewed and summarized the work progress in the first half of the year, analyzed the current development situation, and arranged key work tasks for the second half of the year. Hu Haijing, assistant to the general manager of SUMEC Group Corporation, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Technology Company, led the management members, heads of various departments and heads of subsidiaries of SUMEC-ITC to attend the meeting, and the rest of the employees participated online. The meeting was chaired by Mo Chunhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of SUMEC-ITC.

At the beginning of the meeting, Jiang Haojun, Deputy General Manager of the Asset Finance Department of SUMEC Group Corporation and Financial Director of the Technology Company, delivered the 2024 interim financial report, providing a reference for the company to further improve business efficiency and optimize operational management in the second half of the year from a financial perspective.

Afterwards, Mo Chunhua reported on the results of SUMEC-ITC's "Management Improvement Month" special action and displayed the highlights of the "Four Ones" special initiatives implemented recently. He clarified the specific direction and implementation measures for the next step in enabling business transformation, laying a solid foundation for improving the company's governance effectiveness.

Next, Tang Yuanlong, deputy secretary of SUMEC-ITC’s Discipline Inspection Commission and assistant to the general manager, released a risk mapreport. The heads of the Legal and Compliance Department, Business Management Department, Logistics Support Department, Asset Finance Department, and Corporate Culture Department also gave reports on topics in their respective fields.

During the meeting, the strategic research results were released and a ceremony for overseas resource development was held. The captains of the seven overseas teams took the stage to report their respective action plans, clarify their goals and strategies, and demonstrate their determination. Under the witness of all participants, Hu Haijing and the seven captains jointly pulled up the sail symbolizing SUMEC-ITC's departure, indicating that the company will ride the wind and waves in the overseas market and embark on a new journey.

He summarized the work done by SUMEC-ITC in the first half of the year around the guiding principle of "firm confidence, adherence to the right path and innovation, and promoting stability through progress", and emphasized the importance of seeking opportunities and innovative changes in an uncertain environment, and pointed out that the company has made remarkable achievements in building core competitiveness and exploring new growth paths, completed the scheduled operating tasks, and achieved the goal of "double half".

Hu Haijing also made a comprehensive deployment of the key tasks of SUMEC-ITC in the second half of 2024, made an in-depth analysis of the current Chinese and international economic situation, reiterated the determination to adhere to the established policies, clarified the key directions of business development, and emphasized the importance of transformation.
